Weight & See Entry #1: Little Things Count!

Posted in From the Future Thin Guy, Video Blog, weight and see on 11/12/2008 by Ganns Deen

I’m making a total of three entries to Nesvita’s Pro-Weight Management’s Weight & See Pro-Weight Secrets on Video Contest. This first one talks about nutrition potential at fast food restaurants. With three entries, I hope at least one will make the Top 10. Aside from promoting good nutrition to all future thin guys like myself, that iPod Nano consolation prize is what I’ve been praying for so I can finally get the Nike+ Running Assistant gadget that’ll help me monitor my daily runs.

Say a little prayer for the Future Thin Guy, won’t you?

Do McDonald colors make you hungrier?

Today, I updated my FutureThinGuy YouTube channel in preparation for the two to three hits I expect from folks viewing my entry to Nesvita’s Weight and See video contest. (You can click here to watch my entry, titled Little Things Count!)

As I updated, I realized that the colors I chose – black background, red and yellow for links and borders – were the primary colors of McDonald’s and Jollibee (a Filipino fastfood restaurant that’s kicking the local McDonald’s franchise’s ass from here to the Babuyan Islands).

I love my blacks, reds, and yellows. As I took in the totality of my redesigned YouTube channel, it looked, well, yummy. I wanted a burger. (I didn’t eat one, and as we speak, my beautiful wife is grilling for dinner some chicken breast kebabs that she calls “Peppery Chicken.”)

So here are two questions for you:

1. Does the combination of black, red, and yellow make you hungry?
2. Would you be a dear and subscribe to my YouTube channel?

I also subscribed to a funny guy named KevJumba (among whose claims to fame, because there are apparently many, is getting Jessica Alba to pawn him at a staring contest). He’s funny, but more importantly, he’s got a nice banner on top of his page.

    I want that banner.

So I’m trying to figure out how he did it, and I think he’s got it because he’s not a YouTuber. He’s listed as ‘Comedian.’ Heck, I’m a comedian too, although with each pound I drop, I seem to be getting progressively unfunnier. Should I therefore switch my YouTube user profile from ‘YouTuber’ to ‘Comedian’? Will it give me the awesome right to put a cute logo with my not-so-cute face on the top of my YouTube profile page?

    Oh, good, dinner’s ready.
