A little demoralized

I have a confession to make.

I’ve ballooned. I’m now at 206 lbs.

I know what I did, and I know what I need to get back on track.

It’s just a little demoralizing, that’s all. All that progress in running, yet the weight seems to be stacking up.

I need to go back on Body For Life, STAT.

Methinks I may have to modify that year-end weight goal. *sniff*


37 kilometers for February! WOOT!

Today, I ran 5.3km and surpassed my February goal of 37km! Who’s the man, who’s the man?!

Unfortunately, the man ain’t me. I’ve gained another two pounds, bringing me now to 204. Lord Almighty, what is going on?!

(I know the answer, and I repent. It’s Selecta Cookie Chip Heaven! Oh noes!)

Starting returning to a healthier food lifestyle this morning. Egg white and salmon omelette for breakfast. Lunch no rice. Come on!!

Runs with vampires… tomorrow

I confess I haven’t run with Edward and Bella yet. I’ve been so tired lately, which I’m sure is directly related to the fact that my exercise program is currently in limbo. Holy guacamole, I can hear my fat cells rejoicing. Well, to those lazy bastards, I say, I’m having the last laugh.

Today, I do upper body. Tomorrow, I run. I’m calibrating Edward up, I’m priming Bella with the best of 90s dance – yes, Cece Peniston and C&C Music Factory, haven’t found Right Said Fred yet – and I’m going to kickstart my program. I’m back to 200, so I’d better get moving if I expect to be 160 by the end of the year.

I’ve been a bad boy

The past few days, I’ve been a bad boy.

Last night, I attended a wedding. It was a Chinese lauriat. I ate.

The night before that, I ate at Mr. Choi’s and had a beef brisket rice topping meal. Then a Dairy Queen Blizzard.

The night before the night before that, I had a McDonald’s hot fudge sundae.

When I weighed myself this morning, I was back at 96 kilos. Damn it.

So I did my lower body exercises, had a late breakfast and a light lunch. Tonight, I hope to have a salad. Tomorrow morning, I run.

You fall off the horse, you run after it and jump back on. No one wins the race by crying over spilled – then subsequently sipped-up – milk.

I will not fail. I will not let myself.
