200 by Saturday

This week, I’ll be giving a talk on Saturday at Redeem the Airwaves. Next week, I’ll be leading worship at my favorite Greenhills church. And I’m still at 204.

Here’s my plan:

Cardio: Tuesday and Friday – 30-minute run

Weights: Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday – 4 circuits

Diet: I’m preparing all my food this week to ensure better control over what I eat.

Tuesday morning: Kellogg Special K (not yummy; the Nesvita Pro-Weight cereal is much better), Nesvita Pro-Weight Management milk, and half a cup of pineapples!

Vitamin supplements: (Four) C, multivitamins, calcium, and fish liver oil!

Tuesday mid-morning snack: A cup of delicious yogurt!

Tuesday Lunch: Two tuna burgers on whole wheat sugar-free pan de sal!

Tuesday mid-afternoon snack: 1 banana and a yogurt drink!

Dinner: Salmon and egg white omelet, 1/2 cup pineapple!

It’ll be tough, but I know I can make it to 200lbs by Saturday. Wish me luck!

  2. Keep going, bro! Just remember that weight loss isn’t always linear. Sometimes you can go days without seeing results then suddenly drop a few pounds quickly. There are different theories as to why this happens, but it seems to involve fluctuations in water weight. Seems you have a good plan, so it WILL get results–just maybe not at the exact timetable you hoped for.
